EPL Predictions : Gameweek 5 Saturday's Matches

As far as our last week's predictions are concerned, we had 7 correct prediction results out of ten. And for us three were unexpected , so this is a very good ratio. For this week, Our predictions are as follows:-

Liverpool

V

Stoke City

Stoke city had a great match last week against Everton. They were very close to a draw and performed really well last week. But this week is an entirely different week and anything can happen this week. This is the first match between the two sides since Liverpool beat Stoke 8-0 in the fourth round of the League Cup on 29th November 2000. A win would see Liverpool finish Saturday on top of the league after five matches, with Chelsea not playing until Sunday. For me the scoreline will look emphatic this week with three or four goals are expected from Liverpool against 0 from stoke City.

Predictions: Liverpool 3 - 0 Stoke City.

West Ham

V

Newcastle

West Ham have a great record this season especially at home. They have been very accurate at home but when it comes against Newcastle, Newcastle have not been defeated in nine Barclay's Premier League meetings against the East London outfit. So for me it would be a close game for both of them. The game will be swinging in both the sides and in the end I think that it will be Newcastle that will take three points from the game.

Predictions: West Ham 1 - 2 Newcastle United.

Sunderland

V

Middlesbrough

This match pits the club with the weakest home form in the league against one who have yet to win away.

The last time Sunderland won at home was when they defeated the Teessiders 3-2 on 26th April. Boro had won the previous three fixtures between the sides at the Stadium of Light. Here against it looks as if Middlesbrough are having a slightly edge over Sunderland and the scoreline will be 2 goals to 0.

Predictions:-Sunderland 0 - 2 Middlesbrough.

Bolton

V

Arsenal

This is the first tough game for Bolton Wanderers. Before this game they were playing with easy opponents and had an average performance. Arsenal on the other hand, who started off the season quite ordinary, but have now gained pace and are in absolute phenomenal form. Adebayor scored a hat trick last week and he will be the key man here again.For me this should be an easy win for Arsenal.

Predictions: Bolton Wanderers 1 - 3 Arsenal.

Blackburn

V

Fulham

Blackburn Rovers have not yet won any home game yet this season while Fulham have been failed to win any away game. So this game can be nerve touching game. Both the clubs are struggling for their good form and would want to win the match. As far as I am concerned, I would certainly go with the home team and think that Santa Cruz will do something in this game to make Blackburn win.

Predictions:- Blackburn Rovers 2 - 0 Fulham.
